Svadhyaya is self study on the path to enlightenment. The sage Vyasa defined self-study as: reciting the OM mantra, the Gayatri mantra and the study of scriptures, Puranas and Upanishads. Self-study is a process which leads to illumination and liberation. It is the use of mystical techniques that lead you to the realization of Spirit and a fullness of life.
• There are three aspects to self-study:
• Baudhika Svadhyaya (Intellectual Self Study)
• Vachika Svadhyaya (Verbal Self Study)
• Sharirik Svadhyaya (Physical Self Study)
